In the past three years, Elegant Survival: Stylish Living on a Shoestring and its accompanying blog have had many readers around the world. The topics covered include health, beauty, how to dress elegantly in classic, timeless clothes that will stand up to the rigors of time and daily wear, and ideas for tasteful, low-cost decorating. I have also named several Elegant Survivors, highly accomplished individuals who have succeeded against heavy odds.
