Elegant Low-Carb Burgers

M-J’s Bacon Cheeseburgers are Made with Dak Bacon and Kerrygold Dubliner Cheese from Ireland

I mixed ground beef with a raw egg, dried parsley, crumbled (streaky) bacon, Lawry’s Seasoning Salt, and freshly-ground black pepper, then shaped it into patties which I cooked on both sides (we like well-done meats in our house, so I cooked the burgers until crispy). I then drained the excess grease from the pan and placed cooked bacon pieces on each burger, topped that with slices of Dubliner cheese, and set this assemblage under the broiler for about three minutes to create bacon cheeseburgers so delicious that they can be eaten without buns. This is one of our favourite low-carbohydrate meals.

These bacon-cheeseburgers were cooked and broiled (with the pan-handle outside of the oven) in a Green Pan from Germany.

I served haricots verts amandine with these burgers for balance.
